No, the Swiss did not ban mammography, this is an exaggerated rumor floating around the internet, so resist the temptation to forward the memes about it; however, the Swiss did suspend their mammography screening program in 2014 and began phasing it out due to analysis of cancer rates before and after implementing screening pointing to lots of overdiagnosis (treating healthy women for "cancers" that were not destined to progress).
Dense Breasts are Normal Breasts! So How Does Dense Tissue Raise Risk?! The Truth is a Shocker
The truth is, "the denser, the better", yet we are led to believe that dense tissue is a disease, something to fear and loathe!
Virtually all women of childbearing-age have very dense breasts by design because what is called “dense tissue” is simply “everything but the fat” and we’ve known since at least 2015 that “dense breast tissue absorbs significantly more radiation during mammography compared to fatty tissue,” per the OBGYN’s 2015 Committee Opinion which won’t last much longer on the internet with the censorship the medical mafia feels is necessary but I have downloaded the pdf at that link which is easier to read than their awful mishmash of this opinion (by design?) so look for the pdf link on the right side when you arrive on the page.
New Breast Screening Guidelines by USPSTF: "Women Should Screen an Additional 10 years w/ Mammography" WTH? Views PRO & CON
Through the MAGIC of computer MODELS (not real science with randomized controlled trials) plus crediting mammography with greater efficacy than it deserves according to the dissenting doctors below, the USPSTF (US Preventive Services Task Force) now gives screening with radiation (mammography) a grade of “B” instead of the previous “I” for “Incomplete Evidence”, even though there is ZERO NEW DATA to move it to grade B according to some respected doctors arguing that women should NOT begin screening with mammography at 40.
Don't Let Them Scare You Out of Your Tits - Some Breast "Cancers" Are Not Harmful! The Name Games Played in Screening & Why Quality Thermography is Likely Your Beacon of Truth in The Storm
The team of H. Gilbert Welch, M.D., M.P.H. of the Dartmouth Institute has suggested that rather than an epidemic of breast cancer, we have an epidemic of over-detection, over-diagnosis and over-treatment of breast cancer. And it's occurring in screened healthy women, women who are being treated for cancers that would never have advanced or posed a health risk!
Thermography Cannot Screen Your Girl Parts Nor Inside Your Abdomen - Only Breasts!
Beware any thermography place selling “Women’s Wellness” thermal imaging packages claiming to be able to see early signs of disease by imaging your abdomen. Only if you have pain unexplained by all other methods of diagnosing should you resort to paying for abdominal imaging. If you do receive abdominal imaging from one of these “fast-food thermography” clinics, you’re likely to receive a long laundry list of all the stuff that might be wrong with you to go have checked. Your doctor is going to laugh because there’s nothing serious published in the literature about thermography’s value in abdominal imaging that one can point to in order to justify spending more money on more tests. It’s the perfect example of a circle-jerk.
A Transformational Year of Breast Risk Reduction for Judy 😎
We asked Judy her secret:
"Hot Spots" of Estrogen "Trigger" Breast Cancer Per New Study - Not Mentioned Is That One's First Alert is Likely Quality Thermography - Examples of Estrogen in Images
InfraRED is the REAL ENEMY DETECTOR! Federal agencies and educational institutions and industry have done a great job of repressing this technology because it not only assists in determining whether “hot spots” exist but also whether a pattern exists suggesting hormone imbalance that can predispose one to breast cancer, critical information every woman should receive and monitor with quality thermography.
High-Quality Medical Infrared Imaging Should be in Every Serious Medical Facility
If you’d like to add medical infrared imaging to your clinic, feel free to give Candace a call at 503-775-1812. She can help you train your staff and possibly set you up with a camera as well.
Thermography Can Help Spot Source of Unresolved Pain

Now Booking Thermography Appts at the PDX Cottage + Visit Us on The Emerald Coast + Dense Breasts Absorb More Radiation than Fatty Breasts
Dear Radiant Body,
If you’re not already on the schedule, and need breast or body scanning, please join me in this light-filled cottage for your next thermogram. Dates available at the cottage: October 27 - November 7th. Here are six attributes that set us apart from lesser clinics just in the quality of the reporting.
Each breast report:
1. Is interpreted by the best team in the country, led by Dr. William C. Amalu, DC, DABCT. If interested, see more about Dr. Amalu at his site. He has over three decades of experience and has written extensively on the subject of infrared imaging of the breast and considered one of the world’s renowned experts by the editors of The Biomedical Engineering Handbook: Medical Devices and Systems, in which is contained a chapter on Infrared Imaging of the Breast written by Dr. Amalu. Email us for a copy of this chapter which is a compilation of all the pertinent medical literature on the subject.
2. Contains two sets of high-resolution images, color and black & white.
3. Includes closeup images taken as standard procedure (closeups omitted by many clinics due to camera limitations).
4. Gives you a hormone pattern analysis, reporting the changes, if any, since last visit. There’s currently no great test in the medical industry for measuring estrogen in breasts. Breasts can contain much more estrogen than in the blood so a blood test is very limited. Many docs believe the best test so far is a urine test that measures excreted estrogen, still not breast specific. Imbalances of estrogen create a thermal pattern in breasts that is visible with thermography, a fabulous tool for correcting a problem before it manifests into serious problems.
5. Individualized Future Breast Risk. Studies show that an abnormal thermogram is 10X more predictive than a first order family history. A persistent abnormal thermogram is 22X more predictive than a first order family history. (Amalric, R., Gautherie, M., Hobbins, W., Stark, A.: The Future of Women with an Isolated Abnormal Infrared Thermogram. La Nouvelle Presse Med 10(38):3153-3159, 1981.), (Louis, K., Walter, J., Gautherie, M.: Long-Term Assessment of Breast Cancer Risk by Thermal Imaging. Biomedical Thermology. Alan R. Liss Inc. pp.279-301, 1982.) The great news is that many women see objective proof of risk reduction as their numerical breast thermography grades and hormone imbalance patterns improve with their lifestyle changes.
6. Provides a “roadmap” for a structural imaging technician - detailed instructions about locations of any concerns which can lead an ultrasound technician directly to the areas of greater risk. Once you’ve ruled out solid matter existing in these areas with an ultrasound or other means of structural imaging, and everything remains stable year to year with your thermal patterns, “additional imaging” will not be recommended unless there is an increase in heat somewhere in your normal pattern, allowing one to substantially reduce exposure to unnecessary radiation and harmful testing.

A Little Backstory Regarding the Last Year
With clients being so repelled by the riot-damaged downtown of Portland and the unending lock-downs and restrictions on businesses and activity in general, I made the difficult decision to move headquarters to Florida’s “Emerald Coast” while developing a thermography imaging route from Oregon to Florida (stay tuned for more on this subject.) Here’s the new headquarters clinic, at 111 Opp Blvd NE, Fort Walton Beach, a block north of the Uptown Station Shopping Center.
A mile and a half south of the clinic are these white sandy beaches! The clinic is only 7 miles from the airport, the Destin/FortWaltonBeach/Valparaiso Airport (VPS). Please visit me here if you can! Plenty of Vitamin D all year round. This photo was taken February 2021 on my trip to look for a place to relocate the clinic.
My plan is to return again to Portland in the late spring and I anticipate making two trips a year by car to serve the Portland area; however, this is a fluid situation and could change if Oregon gets even more restrictive or if costs far exceed demand. I will keep you posted. Realizing that Portland area clients will lose hugely if we pull out entirely, I am making a large effort to continue serving the area. Thank you for spreading the word about our high-quality thermography services.
Thermography provides safe imaging for Younger Women under screening age - 15% of all breast cancers occur in women under 45 - it’s the most common cancer in this age group and they have poorer survival rates than older women. The International Academy of Thermology recommends women begin at 20 and have thermography every 3 years until age 30, then annually from age 30.
Did you know that dense breast tissue absorbs significantly more radiation compared to fatty breast tissue? Most are unaware of this and search engines seem to bury it, I wonder why? So I’m linking you to the American College of OB-GYN here, to read for yourself what they say about dense tissue absorbing “SIGNIFICANTLY” more radiation compared to fatty tissue, titled Management of Women With Dense Breasts Diagnosed by Mammography. Sadly they still refuse to acknowledge the contribution that thermography makes and they exaggerate “benefits” of radiation-based screening. One has to assume they prefer to wait until a lump or bump forms rather than detecting the pathology before a solid cancerous tumor is formed. From a financial perspective, this is a more lucrative policy, but it could be considered criminally negligent in light of the presence of technology that is known for detecting issues well ahead of tumor formation when reversing the trend is so much easier.
The medical system seems to be imploding on itself with its chosen “protocols” and standards of “care”. May you never need to enter a hospital! Sending love to all radiant bodies taking a stand for health freedom. My heart is with you.
As usual, thank you for trusting me with your imaging!

Mainstream Media Shows Detection Power of Thermal Imaging before Mainstream Medical Admits It
Breast cancer detected by thermal imaging scan in Edinburgh, Scotland
Link to article: https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-50139540
EXCERPT:
”The thermal camera was installed at Camera Obscura in 2009 and is a popular attraction.
Ms Gill, a deputy-director of finance for a university, said: "We had been to Edinburgh Castle and on the way down we saw the museum.
"While making our way through the floors we got to the thermal imaging camera room. As all families do, we entered and started to wave our arms and look at the images created.
"While doing this I noticed a heat patch coming from my left breast. We thought it was odd and having looked at everyone else they didn't have the same. I took a picture and we carried on and enjoyed the rest of the museum."
'Life-changing visit'
A few days later when the mother-of-two returned home she was flicking through her photographs and saw the image.
On Google she found a number of articles about breast cancer and thermal imaging cameras. She was later diagnosed with early stage breast cancer.
She has since had two surgeries, including a mastectomy, and has a final surgery in November. She has been told she will not need chemotherapy or radiotherapy afterwards.
"I just wanted to say thank you, without that camera I would never have known," she said. "I know it's not the intention of the camera but for me it really was a life-changing visit.””
Thermography Exam - Explained by Registered Nurse, Jenny Hrbacek
Jenny wrote a great book called “Cancer Free! Are You Sure?” which is a compilation of many tests one can do for early warning of cancer. She maintains that the industry standard is to wait for lumps to appear and that there are many medical tests which can alert patients to patterns that can indicate cancer may be able to progress if left alone. She also has a website: www.nolumporbump.com
Here is thermography chapter of her great book which contains over 35 tests that can save your life.

Study shows Thermography Results Correlating with Tumor Growth Rates
Ann N Y Acad Sci. 1993 Nov 30;698:153-8.
Breast thermography is a noninvasive prognostic procedure that predicts tumor growth rate in breast cancer patients.
Head JF1, Wang F, Elliott RL.

Abstract - click here to read the abstract on this study
EXCERPT: ”The strong relationships of thermographic results with these three growth rate-related prognostic indicators suggest that breast cancer patients with abnormal thermograms have faster-growing tumors that are more likely to have metastasized and to recur with a shorter disease-free interval.”
Is a Blood Test Able to Find Cancer?
in Jenny’s MOST EXCELLENT book, you’ll find many early-warning, non-invasive tests not yet being widely used by the medical system (yes there’s a chapter about thermography!). Here she’s telling about a blood test, ENOX2, that she uses to keep her cancer in check. Jenny is an RN who went through conventional treatment for breast cancer and is educating the world about early-warning, non-invasive tests of not only detecting, but managing cancer to keep the “lumps and bumps” (tumors) from showing up.
“Valuable time is wasted while conventional medicine waits years for the LUMP or BUMP to show up on an imaging test. Because nearly half of us will get a cancer diagnosis in our life time, get tested now. Don’t wait for symptoms to appear. Your body was created to heal!”
“Hi, I am Jenny Hrbacek, RN, author of Cancer Free? Are You SURE!
Would you believe me if I told you that it is possible to find cancer when it is as small as the tip of a pin? Would you like to see the lump or bump detection methods become obselete? How about having the opportunity to intervene really early if you or a loved one has cancer? Then READ ON as I share my story.
After receiving a diagnosis of breast cancer in 2009, I experienced first-hand the conventional approach to cancer treatment. I underwent surgery and chemotherapy. But in the chemo rooms, I noticed other people were back a second and third time because their cancer had come back. They, like me, had regular follow up appointments, but by the time the tests used to “monitor their progress” were able to indicate a recurrence, the size of the tumor usually warranted more treatment – more surgery and/or chemo. What happened to the idea of early detection, early enough that you could head off a recurrence or even the initial diagnosis? Is that possible? YES IT IS!
I attended medical conferences and for the first time I learned there are tests available that can spot cancer years before a mammogram, Pap test, or PSA count can. And those tests, which are the most common cancer screening tests, look only for reproductive cancers. What if the cancer is in the pancreas or the bone or the lung – somewhere other than a reproductive organ?
Since 40% of Americans will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, we need to do better. And we can. It’s just that doctors don’t often tell patients about ALL their options. True early detection tests for cancer exist, and are readily available, if patients know to ask for them. That is why I wrote Cancer Free? Are You SURE!
It has often been said the United States does not have a health care system; we have a disease management system focused on expensive drugs and invasive surgeries.
Through public awareness, let’s ask that the system do more to promote health – not just manage sickness. Let’s make the insurance industry aware of these state-of-the-art tests and that we want medical plans to cover the use of them.”
Breast-Cancer Tumor Size, Overdiagnosis, and Mammography Screening Effectiveness
New England Journal of Medicine, October 2016, Full Article Here
CONCLUSIONS
“Although the rate of detection of large tumors fell after the introduction of screening mammography, the more favorable size distribution was primarily the result of the additional detection of small tumors. Women were more likely to have breast cancer that was overdiagnosed than to have earlier detection of a tumor that was destined to become large. The reduction in breast cancer mortality after the implementation of screening mammography was predominantly the result of improved systemic therapy.”
