Thermography Cannot Screen Your Girl Parts Nor Inside Your Abdomen - Only Breasts!

Beware any thermography place selling “Women’s Wellness” thermal imaging packages claiming to be able to see early signs of disease by imaging your abdomen. Only if you have pain unexplained by all other methods of diagnosing should you resort to paying for abdominal imaging. If you do receive abdominal imaging from one of these “fast-food thermography” clinics, you’re likely to receive a long laundry list of all the stuff that might be wrong with you to go have checked. Your doctor is going to laugh because there’s nothing serious published in the literature about thermography’s value in abdominal imaging that one can point to in order to justify spending more money on more tests. It’s the perfect example of a circle-jerk.

Only if you have pain or lumps unexplained by other better tests should you resort to abdominal imaging with thermography. And under no circumstances should you trust it for screening any body part except breasts!

I’ve seen very healthy women get one of these Womens’ “Wellness” reports that reads like everything is going to hell in a hand basket for them, when really the fast-food thermography was designed to sell other services. Save the money, pass on the baseless fear mongering. Screen your breasts, that’s it, that’s all we can screen meaning all we can “SEE EARLY”/ prevent disease in. Yes, occasionally we can possibly find a problem or a source of pain when we image abdomen if it is advanced enough, but for a clinic to sell abdominal image as SCREENING (early detection) is unethical and could miss a very important problem, while leaving the person imaged with a false sense of confidence.

Just say ‘no’ to fast food thermography’s abdominal imaging claims of efficacy - they are lies to sell you products and services you don’t need and worse, they may miss important health problems in your abdomen that are better found with other tests.
