Eagle Institute interprets our images, founded by Dr. William C. Amalu. Prior to May 2026, Dr. Quijano assisted Dr. Amalu only during heavy load times like October (pink ribbon month - breast cancer awareness time). But recently he made the decision to divert all non-breast images to Dr. Quijano for interpretation because breast volume has grown and he feels ‘breasts are where thermography has greatest value, the ability to save lives.’
What if a client wants body and breast imaging?
All of that person’s images will be routed to Dr. Quijano for interpretation.
Dr. Valerie Quijano, DC, BCCT is the founder of InVogue Health Consultants, LLC in Kamuela Hawai’i. Dr. Quijano has a healthcare practice that incorporates thermal imaging into patient care.
Dr. Quijano and Dr. Amalu have been friends and professional colleagues for over 25 years. They did their post-graduate training together under Dr. William Hobbins, M.D., and earned their initial board certification from the American Board of Clinical Thermography. Dr. Quijano has been an independent board certified thermologist for over 20 years.
Her telephone number appears on each report she does and she is very prompt with responding to text messages and happy to have phone discussions when needed for any questions that cannot be answered by the technician (Candace).
Do Clients have the opportunity to request either doctor? Yes, clients may request either doctor for breast interpretation if only breasts are being imaged.
